/recent grants, awards, honors (partial list)

2007 - charles o. anderson is named one of 12 recipients of the prestigious pew fellowship in the arts.  sponsored by the pew charitable trusts, the program aims to identify outstanding philadelphia artists at critical career junctures, awarding them grants of $50,000 each.  also named among the recipients is dtx collaborator and composer king britt.

2007 - dtX is named 2007/08 company-in-residence at philadelphia's painted bride art center.

2007 - charles o. anderson is awarded a $12,500 dance advance grant to collaborate with japanese choreographer kota yamazaki.

2006 - charles o. anderson is awarded a $9,000 independence foundation fellowship to collaborate with south african choreographer vincent mantsoe.

2005 - charles o. anderson is awarded a philadelphia cultural fund community outreach grant.

2005 - charles o. anderson is named an artist-in-residence at theatre outlet in allentown, pa.

2005 - charles o. anderson is named an artist-in-residence at the international festival of modern dance in kaunas, lithuania.
